Spicy Hummus

Ingredients

  • 2 cups chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 2 tablespoons smooth cashew butter (almond butter works too)
  • 1 large garlic clove
  • 1/3 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon coriander
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon fennel seed
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 3 tablespoons water

Recipe

  • 1 put all the ingredients in the food processor and blend until smooth. refrigerate for up to 4 days.
