Sun-dried Tomato And Fennel Seed Hummus

Ingredients

  • Servings: 1
  • 1 1/2 cups cooked garbanzo beans
  • 1/2 cup tahini
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 8 oil-packed sun-dried tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon nutritional yeast
  • 1/2 teaspoon fennel seed
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion (optional)
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste
  • cayenne pepper to taste

    Preparation Time: 15 mins Ready Time: 15 mins

  • place garbanzo beans, tahini, sun-dried tomatoes, lemon juice, olive oil, and maple syrup in the bowl of a food processor. blend until smooth. add in fennel seed, nutritional yeast, and onion; blend until smooth. season to taste with salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
