Black Walnut Balls
Ingredients
- Servings: 3
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 2 cups sifted all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup white sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 cups chopped black walnuts
- 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar
Recipe
- preheat oven to 325 degrees f (170 degrees c).
- blend together butter, flour, white sugar, salt, and vanilla. add black walnuts and mix well.
- shape into 1 inch balls. bake for 25 minutes on ungreased cookie sheet. remove from oven and let cool.
- roll in powdered sugar. store flat - not stacked on top of each other.
