jumpin' chickpeas

Ingredients

  • Servings: 3
  • 1/2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 (16 ounce) can garbanzo beans (chickpeas), rinsed and drained
  • 2 teaspoons lemon-pepper seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon seasoning
  • black pepper to taste

    Preparation Time: 1 min Cook Time: 6 mins Ready Time: 7 mins

  • heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. pour beans into hot skillet. stir in lemon-pepper, seasoning, and a few grinds of black pepper. cover, and cook, stirring often, until beans are golden brown and begin to 'jump' around the pan, about 5 minutes.
