Chinese Ham Stew

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 1 (5 pound) lamb leg, cut into bite size pieces
  • 4 ounces dried wood ear mushrooms
  • 5 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 10 cloves minced garlic
  • 4 cups water

Recipe

  • wash garlic and leave skin intact; wash and soak all of the mushrooms until soft.
  • put the lamb, mushrooms, soy sauce and garlic in a large pot. add water, put heat on low, and let simmer for 1 to 1 1/2 hours, or until internal temperature of lamb has reached 160 degrees f (70 degrees c).
