deluxe pecan pie
Ingredients

- 3 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons butter, melted
- 1/2 cup dark corn syrup
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons chopped pecans
- 1 (9 inch) unbaked pie crust
- 1 cup pecan halves

Cook Time: 45 mins
Ready Time: 1 hr
- preheat oven to 375 degrees f (190 degrees c).
- in a small bowl, mix together the eggs, sugar, butter, corn syrup, whipped cream, , vanilla and salt.
- stir in chopped pecans and pour into pie shell.
- arrange pecan halves on top and bake for 40 to 45 minutes. remove from oven, cool and serve.
