deluxe pecan pie

Ingredients

  • Servings: 12
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup dark corn syrup
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons chopped pecans
  • 1 (9 inch) unbaked pie crust
  • 1 cup pecan halves

Recipe

    Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 45 mins Ready Time: 1 hr

  • preheat oven to 375 degrees f (190 degrees c).
  • in a small bowl, mix together the eggs, sugar, butter, corn syrup, whipped cream, , vanilla and salt.
  • stir in chopped pecans and pour into pie shell.
  • arrange pecan halves on top and bake for 40 to 45 minutes. remove from oven, cool and serve.
