Mirchi Ka Pakora

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 25 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 2
  • 1 cup green chili
  • salt
  • a little lime juice
  • 2 cups gram flour
  • 1 teaspoon mango powder (amchur)
  • oil, to deep fry
  • water, for binding the pakora mixture together

Recipe

  • 1 cut a small slit in each green chilli.
  • 2 smear with salt and lime juice.
  • 3 combine gramflour, mango powder, salt and water (as required) in a bowl.
  • 4 mix well.
  • 5 heat oil in a wok.
  • 6 dip green chillies into the above prepared batter.
  • 7 deep fry in hot oil.
  • 8 drain on clean kitchen paper napkins/towels.
  • 9 serve hot with chutney or tomato ketchup.
