Indonesian Banana Fritters(pisang Goreng)

Total Time: 15 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 5 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 2
  • 4 eggs
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 pinch salt (optional)
  • 4 ripe bananas
  • oil (for deep frying)
  • cinnamon sugar
  • ground ginger (optional)
  • ground cardamom (optional)

Recipe

  • 1 slightly beat eggs and mix with flour and half cup milk.
  • 2 add salt, if using.
  • 3 mash bananas with fork and mix thoroughly with flour and egg mixture.
  • 4 deep-fry banana and flour mixture by the tablespoonful in hot oil until golden brown.
  • 5 drain on paper towels and dust with cinnamon sugar, or you may use powdered sugar and cinnamon.
  • 6 sprinkle with ginger and/or cardamom if you like, or you may add them to the batter. enjoy!
