Indonesian Banana Fritters(pisang Goreng)

Ingredients

- 4 eggs
- 3/4 cup flour
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 pinch salt (optional)
- 4 ripe bananas
- oil (for deep frying)
- cinnamon sugar
- ground ginger (optional)
- ground cardamom (optional)
Recipe
- 1 slightly beat eggs and mix with flour and half cup milk.
- 2 add salt, if using.
- 3 mash bananas with fork and mix thoroughly with flour and egg mixture.
- 4 deep-fry banana and flour mixture by the tablespoonful in hot oil until golden brown.
- 5 drain on paper towels and dust with cinnamon sugar, or you may use powdered sugar and cinnamon.
- 6 sprinkle with ginger and/or cardamom if you like, or you may add them to the batter. enjoy!
