- 4 inches piece kombu seaweed
- 5 dried shiitake mushrooms
- 5 cups water
Recipe
- 1 wipe kombu with a damp cloth.
- 2 place all ingredients in a soup pot.
- 3 bring to a boil.
- 4 remove from heat
- 5 let steep for 1/2 hour.
- 6 strain and refrigerate for up to 5 days.
