Steamed Burghul

Total Time: 1 hr Preparation Time: 40 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 1/4 kg red pumpkins or 1/4 kg cucumber
  • 1/4 kg fine burghul
  • 1/4 kg jaggery, to taste (i like it less sweet)
  • 1/4 teaspoon anise seed
  • 1/2-1 coconut, grated

Recipe

  • 1 grind the pumpkin and mix all the ingredients into it.
  • 2 keep aside for 1/2 an hour to an hour.
  • 3 steam in a pressure cooker for 20 minutes.
  • 4 done.
