Orzo Risotto

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 (1 lb) box orzo pasta
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon finely minced garlic
  • 1 ounce finely shredded parmigiano
  • 1 ounce finely shredded asiago cheese
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • salt and pepper

Recipe

  • 1 cook orzo in large pot of boiling,salted water according to package directions.
  • 2 drain and rinse under cold water.
  • 3 transfer orzo into large saucepan and add broth and garlic.
  • 4 simmer and stir till stock is absorbed.
  • 5 stir in cheeses,and butter.
  • 6 season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • 7 serve immediatly.
