Lemon Pilaf With Raisins And Almonds

Ingredients
- Servings: 4
- 1 cup long-grain rice
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 6 cardamom pods
- 3 cloves
- 1 lemon, zest of
- 1 1/2 cups chicken stock
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1/2 cup slivered almonds
Recipe
- 1 heat oil in a pan.
- 2 sautee onion, garlic, cinnamon, cardamom and cloves. add in raw rice and zest of a lemon.
- 3 season to taste.
- 4 put into rice cooker along with stock. let cook.
- 5 5 mins before its done, add raisins in and continue cooking for 5 minute.
- 6 serve sprinkled with almonds.
