Prawns Masala

Total Time: 50 mins Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 2
  • 1 cup deveined prawns
  • 1/2 cup dried coconut
  • 1 sliced onion
  • 5 garlic cloves
  • 2 chopped onions
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon red chili pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • salt
  • coriander, for garnishing

Recipe

  • 1 in oil roast the sliced onions, dry coconut and garlic cloves. cool and make a paste. keep aside.
  • 2 in oil fry chopped onions till soft , add the prawns a keep stirring for few minutes.
  • 3 add water ,tumeric powder, red chilly powder and garam masala.
  • 4 keep cooking till the prawns are nearly cooked.
  • 5 add the coconut paste , salt and mix well.
  • 6 keeping mixing and cooking till the masala covers the prawns.
  • 7 garnish with coriander and serve with rice or parathas.
