Skewered Ground Meat

Total Time: 1 hr 30 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 1 hr 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 lb ground beef or 1 lb lamb
  • 1 onion (finely minced or grated)
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley leaves, finely minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (to taste)
  • pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

Recipe

  • 1 wet hands in water and mix all ingredients together thoroughly.
  • 2 cover and refrigerate 2 hours.
  • 3 dampen hands and pat mixture around 6 skewers into long, flattened patties about 1 1/2 inches wide and 4-5 inches long.
  • 4 grill or broil in oven until browned and cooked through, about 10-12 minutes.
