Palak Ki Puri ( A Puri Made Of Fresh Spinach)

Ingredients
- Servings: 20
- 450 g wheat flour (2 cups)
- 250 g spinach
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 6 teaspoons milk
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- oil (for deep frying)
Recipe
- 1 clean and wash spinach.
- 2 place in a pan with little water and onion.
- 3 cook until tender.
- 4 drain and grind to a paste.
- 5 sift flour and salt in a large bowl.
- 6 add spinach and milk to make a stiff dough.
- 7 knead the dough well.
- 8 divide it into 20 parts.
- 9 roll them out into round puris of 3" (7 1/2 cms) diameter each.
- 10 heat oil in a deep frying pan and fry 1 or 2 puris at a time.
- 11 turn once.
- 12 remove when both sides are cooked.
- 13 serve hot with youghurt.
