Rice And Coconut Dosas/crepes

Ingredients

  • Servings: 2
  • 1 cup rice, soaked overnight
  • 1/2 cup coconut, grated
  • salt
  • oil, as required

Recipe

  • 1 grind rice with coconut, salt and water to a smooth batter.
  • 2 ensure that the batter is of pouring consistency.
  • 3 heat a non-stick frying pan.
  • 4 brush with a little oil.
  • 5 pour a ladleful of batter into the pan.
  • 6 swirl the pan around allowing the batter to spread in the pan.
  • 7 cook till done.
  • 8 serve hot with chutney.
  • 9 tip: when spread the dosa should have small bubbles.
  • 10 this indicates that the dosa batter is well fermented and light.
