Sauteed Lamb With Ginger & Garlic

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 25 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 500 g lamb shoulder, thinly sliced
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons sake
  • 2 teaspoons grated fresh ginger
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Recipe

  • 1 cut the lamb into 2 inch pieces.
  • 2 combine soy, sake, ginger and garlic.
  • 3 marinate the meat in this mixture (for no more than 15 minutes or it will toughen).
  • 4 heat the oil in a large frypan, and saute the drained lamb over a high heat until slightly brown; then turn and saute at medium heat.
  • 5 add the reserved marinade, and cook for 1-2 minutes.
  • 6 serve with rice, and sauteed asian vegetables.
