Ingredients

- 50 g yellow splitt peas
- 100 g split urad dal, with skin (maa)
- 1 teaspoon ginger paste
- 1 teaspoon garlic paste
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- salt
- 8 green onions, chopped
- 5 green chilies, chopped
- 2 tablespoons coriander, chopped
- 1 tablespoon cumin
- 3 tablespoons oil
- 2 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
Recipe
- 1 wash dals very well.
- 2 cook them with ginger garlic salt red chilies and turmeric powder till done.then leave it for cool.
- 3 now mix dal and all ingredients and knead for 2 minutes. make a big roll, cover, and let it stand for 15 minutes. tapping a little water, knead dough again for 3 minutes. make a big roll again.
- 4 make 8 ball and roll . spread little ghee all over and bring all edges together. press to flatten. with the help of a little dry flour roll into thin round pancake. on a hot tava, cook like a parantha, that is browning with ghee on one side. repeat procedure until finished.
