Saganaki - (fried Cheese With Egg)

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb kefalotyri (other frying cheese is welcome)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 eggs
  • salt and pepper

Recipe

  • 1 place some butter in a round frying pan and allow to melt, be sure to heat very well.
  • 2 take the kefalotiri and cut it into chunks, then place the pieces into the pan.
  • 3 when the pieces are brown on one side turn over to the other side and fry lightly.
  • 4 add the eggs to the fried cheese in the pan.
  • 5 add salt and pepper.
  • 6 cook on a low heat till the eggs are done.
