Shougayaki

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 2
  • 100 g lamb, slice - 8 slices
  • 1 piece gingerroot
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons sake (liquor)
  • 1 tablespoon mirin (sweet sake used as seasoning)

Recipe

  • 1 mix everything together execpt the lamb (grate the ginger into the mix).
  • 2 soak the lamb for 10 minutes.
  • 3 put some oil in a frying pan and brown the lamb remove from the pan.
  • 4 add the remaining sauce to the now empty pan and boil for a couple of seconds.
  • 5 add the lamb and mix for a while.
