Rice Pudding

Ingredients
- Servings: 3
- 3/4 cup minute rice
- 2 3/4 cups milk
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- cinnamon
- sugar
Recipe
- 1 combine minute rice, milk, sugar, butter, salt, vanilla and nutmeg in a greased 1 quart baking dish. (i added my almonds and cardamom pods here.)
- 2 bake in a 350 degree oven for 1 hour.
- 3 stir after 15 minutes and again when pudding is done.
- 4 then sprinkle with cinnamon/sugar.
- 5 serve warm or chilled.
- 6 the pudding will thicken as it stands.
