Oriental Vegetable Soup

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 2 (13 3/4 ounce) cans beef broth
  • 1/4 cup dry sherry
  • 1/3 cup sliced celery
  • 2 scallions, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup drained sliced water chestnuts
  • 4 medium fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 (7 ounce) package frozen pea pods
  • scallion, curls for garnish

Recipe

  • 1 in saucepan, combine first 6 ingredients. bring to boil. reduce heat and simmer 3 minutes.
  • 2 add mushrooms and pea pods. simmer 2 minutes.
  • 3 garnish with scallion curl and serve.
