Cucumber Raita

Ingredients

  • Servings: 2
  • 2 cucumbers, peeled and finely chopped
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon cumin, ground
  • 1/2 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
  • salt & pepper
  • to taste paprika

Recipe

  • 1 combine cucumbers with yogurt in a bowl.
  • 2 fry cumin in a dry pan for 1 minute until fragrant, then add to yogurt mixture with the ginger.
  • 3 season with salt and pepper.
  • 4 place in a bowl and dust with paprika.
  • 5 serve chilled.
  • 6 can be refrigerated up to 2 days.
